Holy Week activities and story sequencing games for kids

Holy Week is the week from Palm Sunday to Easter. In 2027 it runs from 21 to 28 March. Here's the story in order, with one simple activity for each day.

The events of Tuesday and Wednesday are less clearly separated in the Gospels, so many churches teach them together.
Sequencing games
Story card race (ages 6–12)
Print or write 10 cards, one for each event in the table (split Thursday into the supper, the foot washing and the garden). Teams race to put them in order, then check against the Bible references.
Human timeline (ages 8–14)
Give each child one event card. Without talking, they line up in the right order. Then each reads their card aloud. If the order is wrong, the group fixes it together.
Story order on screen (ages 6 and up)
