Bible trivia questions for kids, by age (with answers)
45 free questions from Genesis to Acts, sorted into three age groups, each with the answer, the Bible reference and a one-line note you can read aloud.
Updated 3 November 2026 · How we pick resources

These questions cover the Bible stories children meet most often in Sunday school: creation, Noah, Joseph, Moses, David, Daniel, Jonah, the life of Jesus and the early church. Each age group has 15 questions, roughly in Bible order, so you can stop after any story you've taught.
- Ages 4–6: one-step questions about the best-known stories. Read the choices aloud.
- Ages 7–9: names, numbers and "what happened next" questions.
- Ages 10–12: less familiar people, and questions that connect one story to another.
Tap Show answer to see the answer and the Bible reference. The choices are listed in alphabetical order, so the right answer's position gives nothing away. To print the questions with the answers, use the Print with answers button below.
How to run Bible trivia with a class
- Split into two or three teams and give each a name from the Bible (Bethlehem, Galilee, Jericho).
- Take turns. A correct answer scores 100 points. If a team misses, the next team can steal it for 50.
- Read the reference aloud after each answer, or ask a child to find it. Ten seconds per question turns the game into a real Bible review.
- Mixed ages? Ask each team's youngest player the 4–6 questions and the oldest the 10–12 questions, so everyone gets a turn they can win.
- No screen needed. Read from your phone or print this page and keep score on a whiteboard.
A round of 15 questions takes about 15 minutes with three teams.
